Akron Global Business Accelerator tenant Mindgrab Media is less than 2 years old, but is already working with a “who’s who” of beauty industry clients, reports the Akron Beacon Journal:

Clairol, Aquage, Rusk and FHI Heat are all using videos or Web sites designed and programmed by the Akron start-up.  And a May phone call by a Paris agency sent Mindgrab to Italy to shoot footage for an infomercial for Tatchme, a new skin care product line being promoted by Mariel Hemingway.

Many of Mindgrab’s clients are surprised to find out the company is based in Akron, Oh.  They are pleasantly surprised to find out that Mindgrab can charge half of what their LA and Atlanta competitors charge, due to a much friendlier cost of living here in Northeast Ohio.
