The Youngstown Business Incubator’s newest tenant is GreenEnergyTV.com.

GreenEnergyTV.com is an Online Television Channel that is dedicated to airing green videos for millions of viewers around the world. They currently have viewers from 104 countries and 6 continents around the world going to our site to watch green videos.

GreenEnergyTV believes that people can and want to make a difference by showing and sharing with the world what they are doing to be green.  They welcome companies, individuals, families, schools, kids, teachers and organizations to upload & watch videos on the site, at no charge.  GreenEnergyTV is a community and a network that is changing the world through Green Media coverage.  Their goal is to educate viewers on what is going on around them and help them to make an educated switch to using cleaner alternatives in their everyday lives. GreenEnergyTV has received hundreds of videos from many individuals, organizations and corporations. There are also many Fortune 500 Companies such as Google, GE, Sun Microsystems, Johnson & Johnson, Xerox, Yahoo!, Wal-Mart, etc. and organizations like the United Nations, and European Energy Commission who have uploaded their videos.  Videos they air include: Solar Energy, Wind Power, Hydro Power, Hydrogen, Fuels, Geothermal, Wave/Tidal Energy, Energy Conservation, Recycling, Hybrid vehicles, Organic, Green Building, Recycling, and more.

Their revenue strategy?  The About page on their website simply states:

“We will develop revenue streams through advertising opportunities and sponsorship. We will use some of the revenue to install solar/wind energy projects in Third World countries. These energies can pump fresh/clean drinking water from deep below the earth’s surface and provide many other benefits to impoverished people.”

A startup based on personal passion and beliefs - this one will be fun to watch.
